Hotel disciplinary rules

  

1. Booking an accommodation and other services at Akcent Hotel (hereinafter only Hotel)
1a. When booking an accommodation and other services at the Hotel (by email, fax or other written form), a guarantee of a guest’s credit card details or prepayment in cash or by a bank transfer will be required in the amount specified in the next article 1b. of these Disciplinary rules. In case the guarantee is not provided, the Hotel will hold the accommodation booking and other booked services only until 6:00 pm local time on the first day of the stipulated stay according to a written accommodation booking confirmation. If a guest, who has not provided the guarantee and does not arrive by the above mentioned time-limit, his/her accommodation booking will be considered as cancelled.
1b. The amount of the guarantee for the booked accommodation and other services at the Hotel is:
- for individual bookings (up to 14 pax) 100% of the price for all booked services of the first night,
- for group bookings (15 pax and more) 100 % of the price for all the booked services of the entire stay.
In case of a guarantee by credit card, a guest acknowledges the fact that the Hotel will make a preauthorisation of his /her credit card for the amount specified in this article of these Disciplinary rules.
1c. Cancellation terms and conditions of the Hotel apply (if not agreed in a written form otherwise):
- for individual bookings (up to 14 pax) 48 hours prior to the stipulated day of arrival - if a guest makes a cancellation after the above mentioned time-limit or does not arrive, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 100% of the price for all the booked and cancelled or not used services of the first night,
- for group bookings (15 pax and more) 31 days prior to the stipulated day of arrival - if a guest makes a cancellation...
...30 - 14 days prior to the stipulated day of arrival, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the price for all the booked and cancelled services,
...13 - 2 days prior to the stipulated day of arrival, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 90% of the price for all the booked and cancelled services,
...2 - 0 days prior to the stipulated day of arrival, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee in the amount of 100% of the price for all the booked and cancelled or not used services.
1d. Children up to the age of 6 years can be accommodated at the Hotel free of charge, when sleeping in a baby cot or sharing a bed with an adult.
1e. Dogs and other small animals can be accommodated at the Hotel in case of prior agreement with the management or the reservation department of the Hotel, and provided they do not intrude or disturb other accommodated Hotel guests. A fee of EUR 10 is charged for an animal per night.

    

2. Check-in
2a. Check-in the Hotel is from 14:00 until midnight local time on the first day of the stipulated stay according to a written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent.
2b. A guest must provide a written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent.
2c. A guest must prove identity via a valid travel document, identity card or other proof of identity.
2d. A guest must fill in a Hotel registration card. By signing the registration card the guest takes on a full liability that his/her personal data filled in on the registration card are correct and also confirms that he/she agrees with and will act according to these Disciplinary rules.
2e. A guest must provide a guarantee by a credit card (the guest’s credit card will be preauthorised) or by a cash deposit for the room equipment and all potentially provided services (consumption of the mini-bar selected variety, made phone calls, parking, laundry, etc.). The guarantee is in the amount of CZK 1.500 or EUR 60 per room. In case of the cash deposit, the guest will obtain a receipt which must hold on to till Check-out from the Hotel. The cash deposit will be returned to the guest upon check-out time from the Hotel by presentation of the above mentioned receipt, provided the guest has paid for all provided services and no other payment according to the article 4b. of these Disciplinary rules is due.
2f. A guest must pay for the accommodation and other ordered services for the entire stipulated length of stay (according to a written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent) at the Hotel’s reception upon check-in time. If the obligation to pay for the accommodation and other booked services is transferred to a third party (based on a contract, written order or a voucher from a travel agent), the guest must provide only the guarantee for the room equipment and other potentially provided services specified in the article 2e. of these Disciplinary rules. 
2g. If a guest is going to use the guarded car park in the street named Za Ženskými Domovy, adjacent to the Hotel building, and the service has been booked through the Hotel’s reception, the guest must fill in a Hotel parking card and pay for all ordered days of parking at the Hotel’s reception upon check-in time. If the obligation to pay for the parking is transferred to a third party (based on a contract, written order or a voucher from a travel agent), the guest must only fill in the Hotel parking card. The guest will obtain two copies of Hotel parking card - the guest will pass one to the guard of the car park, the other copy will hold on to till the last day of parking he/she ordered and paid for.
2h. A guest is aware that check-in procedure at the Hotel’s reception can take up to 10 minutes.

     

3. Staying in the Hotel
3a. A guest can use the room for the stipulated length of stay according to a written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent. The guest must arrange any shortening or extending of his/her stay at the Hotel in advance at the Hotel’s reception. If the guest decides to shorten the initial stipulated length of stay according to the written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or the voucher from a travel agent, the guest must inform the Hotel’s reception by 12am one day before the newly planned check-out day at the latest. If this condition is not met, the Hotel reserves the right to charge the guest a cancellation fee in the amount of 100% of the price for all booked services of one night. In case the guest extends his/her stay at the Hotel, he/she will be offered the price according to the current price(s) for that (these) given day(s), not the rate stated in the written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or the voucher from a travel agent.
3b. Breakfast is served in a buffet style in the restaurant on the ground floor of the building daily from 7:00 am to 10:OO am local time. Removing the breakfast food variety or utensils out of the restaurant premises is strictly forbidden. The operator of the restaurant is NOT the Hotel.
3c. Room cleaning is being performed daily between 9 am and 4 pm local time. For towel exchange, please leave used towels on the bathroom floor. If a guest does not require the room cleaning and does not want to be disturbed in the room in any way, such a guest will announce this by hanging a card ´Please do not disturb´ on a door handle from outside.
3d. Guests are obliged to observe the silent hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am local time.
3e. Smoking is allowed only in smoking rooms (from room No. 730 to 745) and in smoking part of the Hotel restaurant. In non-smoking rooms and other common areas of the Hotel is smoking forbidden.
3f. The Hotel recommends to all guests to store and lock personal valuables into the safety deposit boxes inside the rooms or at the Hotel’s reception. The Hotel is not liable for any loss of or damage to valuables left freely in the room or in common areas of the Hotel.
3g. For safety reasons, the Hotel recommends to all guests to close all windows, balcony doors, turn all taps off and remove the key card from the power saver next to the room entrance door and leave the power saver empty as well as to make sure the room entrance door are properly closed and locked when leaving.
3h. We ask guests not to move furniture or tamper with electrical appliances and wiring. For safety reasons, only guest’s personal electrical appliances that serve for personal hygiene (fan, curling tongs, shavers or massagers) and guest’s personal electrical devices like computer, mobile phone re-charger, etc.  may be plugged in the Hotel room.
3i. A guest is liable for any damage to the room and its equipment during his/her stay in the Hotel. If the guest damages any room or its equipment or makes the room or its equipment dirty in a non-standard way, such a guest will be charged a fee in the amount of CZK 1.000 if the damage is not proved to be in a higher amount.
3j. A guest must announce any visitors to his/her room in advance at the Hotel’s reception. Such a visitor to the Hotel room must prove identity via a valid travel document, identity card or other proof of identity.

      

4. Check-out 
4a. Check-out time is by 12:00 am local time the last day of the stipulated stay according to a accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent. The guest must vacate the room by the above mentioned check-out time. If the guest does not vacate the room by the above mentioned check-out time, the Hotel reserves the right to charge the guest 100% of the price for accommodation of another night according to the current price stated on the Hotel’s web page (www.akcent-hotel.cz) for that given night. Furthermore, if the guest, who did not check-out by the above mentioned check-out time, is not present at the Hotel, the Hotel reserves the right to vacate the room and store all the guest’s belongings in a safe place so that the room can be used by another guest who has booked the room from that day onward.
4b. A guest must pay for all provided services (mini-bar consumption, made phone calls, parking, laundry, etc.), potential cancellation fees and fees for damage to the room or room’s equipment or for making the room dirty in a non-standard or a penalty for NOT checking-out by the above mentioned check-out time stated in the article 4a. of these Disciplinary rules.
4c. If a guest uses the guarded car park in the street named Za Ženskými Domovy, adjacent to the Hotel building, and the service has been ordered at the Hotel’s reception, the guest’s vehicle must vacate the car park no later than by 14:00 local time on the last day the guest ordered and paid the parking for at the Hotel’s reception. If the guest’s vehicle remains in the car park after the above mentioned time-limit, the parking is solely a matter of the relation between the guest and the car park operator, without any participation of the Hotel, and is no longer governed by the terms and conditions and the prices stipulated through the Hotel’s reception. The operator of the car park is NOT the Hotel.
4d. We ask guests to close the room and return the room key card to the Hotel’s reception at the end of their stay at the Hotel.
4e. A guest is aware that check-out procedure at the Hotel’s reception can take up to 10 minutes.

    

5. Other
5a. In case a guest deposits his/her luggage to a luggage room of the Hotel when arriving or departing from the Hotel, such a guest must prove identity via a valid travel document, identity card or other proof of identity when collecting his/her luggage.
5b. On an unexpected occasion the Hotel may offer a guest other venue of the booked accommodation and other services in the same or better category, provided it does not differ from a written accommodation booking confirmation and other services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent with regard to the stipulated length of stay, prices and room type.
5c. A guest must obey the content of these Disciplinary rules of the Hotel. If the guest breaches these Disciplinary rules of the Hotel, the Hotel management has the right to withdraw the contract on the provided accommodation and other services before the expiry of the stipulated length of stay according to a written accommodation booking confirmation and other booked services at the Hotel or a voucher from a travel agent.
5d. Guests’ requests and complaints can be sent to Hotel management and will be dealt with at the
